Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • wedding pictures
  • paste
  • scisorrs
  • any scrapbooking materials you like
  1. Step 1

To celebrate a one-year anniversary, take a romantic approach. Begin a week or so ahead of time by creating a scrapbook. Use pictures of you as a couple before the wedding, of the wedding, honeymoon picures, and couple pictures during the first year of your marriage. Split the sections apart into categories and make sure to include First Year of Marriage.

  2. Step 2

When creating the scrapbook you can include more than pictures--concert tickets, poems, programs, anything that reminds of you of your first year of marriage and your relationship.

  3. Step 3

Go out for dinner on the night of your anniversary. It doesn't have to be extremely fancy. Just a nice, romantic restaurant that you both enjoy being at. Wine and dine your wife. Make her feel like the only woman in the world.

  4. Step 4

The weekend of your anniversary go to the place of your first date or relive your first date in some way. Not only does this bring up all of those feelings that you first felt when your relationship began and rekindles the romance, but it also extends your anniversary to more than just one night.

  5. Step 5

During this reliving of your first date give your spouse the scrapbook. The makes the day even more romantic.

  6. Step 6

Spend time looking through the scrapbook together, reliving the memories and the romance.
