How to Make Christmas Cards Using Old Christmas Cards

Each year we send Christmas cards and we receive Christmas cards. They are too beautiful to throw away and can't be reused because they are signed. With this great craft idea for parents and children, you can make Christmas cards for friends and loved ones. Read on to learn more.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • A collection of Christmas cards from years past
  • Colored craft paper
  • Elmer's glue
  • Colored pens and pencils
  • Craft Scissors
  • Writing paper
  • Glitter

Step1
Cut picture away from saying and signature portion of used card and put in a pile.
Step2
Cut around the picture so that isn't square in shape anymore. Use craft scissor, such as pinking shears to give a decorative flare to the card edge
Step3
Choose a piece of colored paper for your new card. Fold it in half. Glue the festive cut-out to the front of the card.
Step4
Glue a piece of writing paper to the inside of the card and let dry for 15 minutes. Once Glue is dry write a holiday message using colored pens and pencils.
Step5
If you want, decorate the card further with hand drawn artwork or glitter.
