Chicken roll-ups are delicious and easy to make. They are ideal for bachelors and families. The ingredients are inexpensive and preperation and cooking time is less than 20 minutes.
Open the package of crescent rolls. On a clean, disinfected surface, lay out all 8 uncooked rolls.
Step3
Carefully open the can of cooked chicken and package of shredded cheddar cheese and combine the contents in a mixing bowl using a large spoon. Open the can of cream of mushroom soup and set aside.
Step4
Scoop out a spoonful of the chicken and cheese mixture and place on each of the eight separated pieces of crescent-roll dough. Each piece of dough is in the shape of a triangle and the mixture should be placed at the widest part.
Step5
Carefully roll the dough and mixture from its widest part to its thinnest, thus creating a rolled pocket of dough.
Step6
Place all 8 rolled pieces of dough and mixture in a 10x12 baking dish. It does not matter if the crescent rolls are touching each other or not.
Step7
Pour the can of cream of chicken soup around the crescent rolls.
Step8
Place the baking dish in the pre-heated oven for 15 minutes. Dish is ready to be served upon completion of baking time.
Tips & Warnings
If you have some leftover shredded cheddar cheese, sprinkle some on the top of the crescent rolls with 2 or 3 minutes left in baking time. The added cheese will create a nice, melty layer to the top of the dish.
Corn or peas are ideal side dishes for chicken roll-ups.
