Did you know that all vitamins and nutrition stem from your intestines? If you are a diabetic, your sugar is not broken down
properly. Your digestive juices in your intestine are not working properly, maybe from age or malfunctioning. So you need to help your body out and eat foods to aid in the process of digestion.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Yogurt
  • Acidophilus, tablet form is preferable
  • Foods with added probiotic

Eating supplemental foods and taking vitamins.

  1. Step 1

The new trend is to aid your digestive system, starting with the mouth, alimentary canal, stomach and intestines. There are millions of friendly bacteria working in the intestines. They aid in the immune system. All of the processing in the intestines go into the blood stream. Your intestines can facilitate the process or they can dispose of healthy bacteria needed for various needs of your body.

  2. Step 2

Goat's milk is good for a lot of illness. If you have a bleeding ulcer, drinking goat's milk will help to cure the ulcer. We lived in the country and had a goat for my step father. My mother milked the goat. You can buy the milk at stores. But in my day it was a rarity and could not be found locally. It is said to cure many things: high cholesterol, other bacteria, vaginal infection and yeast infection, and some even claim it is a cure for cancer.

  3. Step 3

A lot of yogurt contains some of the same nutrition that acidophilus, contains. You need to buy the lite form, because it contains less sugar and fat. Yogurt is a probiotic, and is useful in most instances in helping to aid with the friendly bacteria conquering the harmful bacteria. Always eat before a meal, because it aids in the digestion. In order to help in digestion it needs to be in your intestines before eating.

  4. Step 4

There are also on the market, Baby's formulas with organic nutrition that contain properties of a form of acidophilus. You need to check with your doctor to see if it is safe for your baby. The baby usually should be over 12 months old. There is also a form of soy milk that is available
for babies and children. If they can't tolerate the milk out of the store, you should consult with your doctor and see if this is a good substitute for nutrition.

Tips & Warnings
  • Ask your doctor if there are any side effects of taking acidophilus.
  • See if you need additional lactic acid, instead of regular milk.
  • You may be able to make your own form of yogurt type drink if you have the necessary equipment.
  • Visit a couple of health food store to see what they have in stock for improving the flora in your intestines.
  • Eating healthy food always helps in your looks and energy.
  • Check with your doctor to see if there are tests to determine if you have enough lactic acid.
  • Don't overdo taking supplements that you do not need for your health.
