1. In Los Angeles, it is never hard to find someone who has had his or her headshot taken multiple times. Ask several people not only to see their headshots but also their opinions and to hear stories from those you know and trust.
2. After collecting a handful of names, go online and look up each photographer's portfolio.
3. Compare each photographer's the style and price to find one that fits your needs.
4. Call the photographer and explain your situation and what it is you are looking for in a headshot to see if his or her ideas align with yours.
