Take great care of your cooking knives and they will last, making working in the kitchen effecient and a pleasure.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Always cut on a cutting board.
Step2
Wash in hot soapy water, and wipe dry or air dry.
Step3
Store knives in a knife block or protective case.
Step4
Sharpen with a grind wheel or a whetstone, ot take them to a professional service.
Step5
Use a sharpening steel-the ridged metal rod that comes with most knife sets- to remove nicks along the edge of your knife to keep it sharp.

Tips & Warnings

  • do not let them soak in water
  • do not wash in dishwasher
