  • Colored markers, pens, pencils
  • Typing paper colored or white
  • Address labels opt.
  • Scissors or pinking shears

  2. Step 2

Glue the cardboard stock on the back on the card. Using markers, pens, pencils etc. write a new message on the card stock to someone on your Christmas list

  3. Step 3

Take the typing paper and fold into an envelope and glue. Address the envelope or type the name on a label.

  4. Step 4

Place the new card you made into the envelope and seal. Mail to everyone you have on your list.

Tips & Warnings
  • This is a great project to do with ages K through grade 5.
  • Variation to add to the card is a small piece of card stock attached at the top so the card will stand like a picture instead of writing a whole message just sign and send.
  • This is great for sending to soldiers in Walter Reed Hospital or shut-ins and nursing home residents
