The wheel was probably the greatest little invention. Over the years, things were added on to it and it eventually evolved into the car. The car soon became necessary for daily life especially if you live in California. So where does one find a good car at an affordable price?

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Look for a legitimate car dealership. They’re always advertised on TV or in the papers. If you feel it necessary, check them out with the Better Business Bureau.

  2. Step 2

Go to that dealership, or dealerships, and look around at their product line. A general rule of thumb, the size of your family determines the size of your new car.

  3. Step 3

Check out both the new and used sections. Used cars at a legitimate dealership aren’t as bad as you might think. They might not have as many financial perks as a new car but they operate well.

  4. Step 4

Make sure the car fits your needs.

  5. Step 5

Whatever car you choose, first find ot if it's possible to negotiate the price down to a level that's acceptable to everyone concerned. People do do it, but don't count on it.

  6. Step 6

    Find out about the warranty.

  7. Step 7

Buy the car and let the car dealers organize the paper work.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try to avoid these small “mom and pop” dealerships with unbelievably low prices. Unless you yourself are an expert car mechanic and you don’t mind fixing your car again and again, you’ll only be asking for trouble.
