Step 1
Look for a legitimate car dealership. They’re always advertised on TV or in the papers. If you feel it necessary, check them out with the Better Business Bureau.
-
Step 2
Go to that dealership, or dealerships, and look around at their product line. A general rule of thumb, the size of your family determines the size of your new car.
-
Step 3
Check out both the new and used sections. Used cars at a legitimate dealership aren’t as bad as you might think. They might not have as many financial perks as a new car but they operate well.
-
Step 4
Make sure the car fits your needs.
-
Step 5
Whatever car you choose, first find ot if it's possible to negotiate the price down to a level that's acceptable to everyone concerned. People do do it, but don't count on it.
-
Step 6
Find out about the warranty.
-
Step 7
Buy the car and let the car dealers organize the paper work.
