Step1
A built-in barbecue grill next to an eating area. Build an outdoor kitchen. Build an outdoor kitchen in which a family can cook the next supper. Use the outdoor kitchen as often as possible. Some homeowners think that the outdoor kitchen should only be used during summer; however, you can use the outdoor kitchen almost throughout the year unless you live in a place where it snows for more than three months in a year. Nevertheless, being able to us the outdoor kitchen at an average of seven to eight months is still better than only using it for three to four months or during summertime.
Step2
An outdoor dining table ready for an al fresco dining. Dine al fresco. Eat outdoors as often as you like. There is nothing better than enjoying a feast outside.

Enclose part of your outdoor space with walls like in a courtyard, to protect you from the harsh elements of the colder air when winter approaches.
Step4
An outdoor fireplace can add warmth to colder days or nights. Use a heater or an outdoor fireplace if it is getting cold outside. Use umbrellas for the days that are too warm that you just want to stay indoors. Use sunscreen for protection.
Step5
A heated pool with heated spa. Use your outdoor spa all throughout the year. Ensure that you have a heater installed that you can use when the season gets colder. Heated spas have been known to help in relieving stress and body aches. So there are health benefits to using this all year round if possible. A heated pool is also refreshing. A weekly relaxing swim can relax your body and help you exercise.

on 1/7/2008 Hi Blackbear, the trick for the hose is use the one they sell as sprayer/ mister...then place it in front of the fan so the spray goes around...really good to have during hot sunny weather!

on 1/2/2008 very nice article. I'd like to know more about the fan and the water because I'd probably end up shocking myself to death.
