Airplanes are full of germs and bacteria and because you're in an enclosed space with lots of other people who are breathing the same recycled air, it can be difficult to stay healthy while flying. Fear not! By taking just a few precautions, you can avoid getting sick on your next trip.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Drink an herbal vitamin formula like Airborne, which will beef up your immune system and keep all those nasty germs out of your body. Take a tube on board with you and pop an effervescent tablet into a glass of water.

  2. Step 2

Wipe down your tray and arm rests with anti-bacterial wipes. Carry a few in a plastic bag, and you'll eliminate anything nasty that might be lingering in these high traffic bacterial areas.

  3. Step 3

Wash your hands often and carry anti bacterial gel. Make sure that you're washing for at least fifteen seconds and using hot water to rinse when you're in airplane bathrooms and in the airport.

  4. Step 4

Drink lots of fluids. Stick with water or, if necessary, fruit juices. Sugar actually slows down your immune system, so make sure that you have as little as possible while traveling. Try to get some fruits and vegetables in as well.
