Step1

Ok, first you will have to train the wandering mind to sit, listen internally and think about what you want to do.
- Write?
- Draw?
- Make a mixed CD for someone special (these make nice gifts)?
- Finish the novel sitting in your computer hard drive collecting dust?
Step2

Great, now you know. I assume you have moved to step 2.
Gather your materials you will need.
- Remember to the more prepared for doing this the less distractions you will have!
Sit in your favorite quiet spot, nook, corner of the office, bed, couch, etc.
Step3
This is most important to really get your ideas down on paper, laptop or wherever! Photo Courtesy of: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/176/404525519_0fe64e93a6_o.jpg
Sitting, great.
Listening, not to just your favorite tunes. To you.
- Is something eating at you?
- Is there a topic your dying to write about but, haven't as of yet?
- Got a story idea maybe you want to outline?
- Start writing the next great American novel?
Step4
The first step is always the most REWARDING! Photo Courtesy of http://images.jupiterimages.com/common/detail/29/21/23372129.jpg
Awesome, you have heard yourself. Let's go.
Beginning is truly the hardest part. The step that takes the most effort and still can give you the greatest reward for your efforts.
Sometimes like a small child that first step you may fall. Get up and try again. You can do it. BE POSITIVE! You can do it.
Step5
Keep going, don't stop now. Experience your creativity. Embrace it.
This will spiritually increase your energy and allow you to express yourself in a world where you might otherwise be stifled.
Step6
Create, and Create some more.
Whether for profit or fun. It doesn't honestly matter.
Sharing your work can be both creatively gratifying and sometimes critical.
Learn from both they will help you advance your creativity that much more.
Like an Actor who studies his/her part for a play/movie role. You can learn more and more. Releasing the inner role your dying to play.
