Tromping through Ancient Greece, Egypt, and Babylon is always fun. But it's even more fun if you know a few basic guidelines for making your character. Rather than discuss each of the 72 possible combinations, here's a quick guide to the Storm Mastery and how to build your Stormcaller.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Titan Quest computer game

Step1
Invest Stat Points. Calling down Storms takes intelligence, so be sure to put 1 point each level into intelligence. Your other point should go into strength for the first few levels, and then return to intelligence unless you are playing a melee character with Storm Nimbus.
Step2
Grab Storm Nimbus right away, then drop points into Storm Mastery until you hit level 16 mastery. At this point, you'll either want to choose a storm attack spell (Lightning Bolt or Ice Shard), or move to your secondary mastery for a melee attack.
Step3
As a spellcaster, max out your chosen tree (Lightning Bolt or Ice Shard) as well as Eye of the Storm for maximum elemental damage. Non-spellcasters will want to max out the Storm Nimbus tree. Either way, you'll want to maximize Squall and Obscured Visibility to deal with archers.
Step4
Suggested Secondary Masteries: Spirit Mastery, for the mighty Ternion attack. Defense Mastery, because spellcasters often lack good defense. Warfare Mastery, for lightning and ice imbued melee power.
Step5
Equipment: Staves often have a bonus to elemental damage, so if you are casting lightning or ice, pick a staff with the appropriate element. Rings can assist here as well. Constant casting will drain your mana swiftly, so energy regeneration gear is recommended.

Tips & Warnings

  • Squall is your best friend at higher difficulties; cast it on every enemy you see, and they'll rarely see you.
  • Energy Shield is only useful in a few situations. Your points are better spent in your other mastery.
