Do you love internet marketing, writing and making money? Then you have the perfect combination to write an internet marketing ebook. Internet marketing is a hot topic and the ideas needed in this area seem to be never ending. Here are some steps to get you started on writing your internet marketing ebook.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Do some research on the hottest and latest internet marketing trends. This could be web 2.0, another social networking concept, a new type of software that makes web business easier or any other innovation concept.

  2. Step 2

If you don't find something brand new or don't feel comfortable writing about a new topic, think about the internet marketing ebooks you have and see how you can add a new twist to the information that is already there.

  3. Step 3

Create an outline of about 10 topics related to your topic. Think of what you would need to know about this internet marketing concept to be able to use it in your business. Include how it works, why it's important to use, how to download it if it's a new software or other specific instructions.

  4. Step 4

Write a series of articles that can be used as chapters if that's easier for you. Ebooks can be as short as 4,000 words which is only about 10 articles of 400 words each. Simply write the articles and compile them into a logical order for a book.

  5. Step 5

To make your ebook more user-friendly use screen capture software to give pictures of what you're presenting. If the ebook is read online, you can add links to audio or video lessons to clarify the instructions.

  6. Step 6

Write a table of contents using the titles of the articles. Convert your ebook to PDF and upload it to your website.

Tips & Warnings
  • Writing a ebook using articles makes it easy and quick.
  • Internet marketing is a great topic to generate traffic to your website.
  • Keep a tight focus on the topic of your ebook.
  • Make your ebook long enough to provide relevant information.

on 4/8/2009 I like the idea of compiling articles. I think most people get overwhelmed with the idea of writing a book that they never even get started.I think another idea is to have a professional from eLance edit the book before you distribute it.

on 11/6/2008 I put a link to this article from an article I posted this morning: How to renew your business. I'm impressed with your list of titles and would like to add you to my friend's list but am unable to find your friend request button. I think my readers, who are all small business owners looking for ways to build their business, would appreciate your articles too. Would you like to build readership together? Dhyan

on 6/17/2008 I love this ebook writing idea! Everyone who is a website owner is the expert in their own subject.

There are some features that can convert PDF documents from your ebook onto a flip-page publisher. That makes your ebook LOOK like a book on your website and you would flip the pages with your mouse. Also a fantastic feature for product catalogue. It's a great way to keep interactivity with your ebook. Don't want anyone losing attention with your valuable message!
