  • Red or white onion (optional)

      Browned/Reheated Taco Meat

      Brown ground beef, or reheat it, with added taco spices in browning pan. Follow directions on taco spices package for browning. Once ground beef is browned, strain fat and keep on stove at a "warm" temperature.

      Place a layer of shredded lettuce (any type you like) in a bowl.

      Tortilla Chips on top Lettuce

      Tortilla chips are the next layer. Use any type of tortilla chips you like.

      Cheese Grater and Cheese for Taco Salad

      Begin to shred the amount of cheese you want on your taco salad. You can use any kind of cheese you like.

      Shredded Cheese over Tortilla Chips

      Sprinkle the shredded cheese over tortilla chips.

      Jalapeno's added on top shredded cheese

      Add jalapenos and onions on top of the shredded cheese, if desired. This, along with the salsa, will give your taco salad an added kick.

      Add the warm taco meat on top of jalepenos. When the taco meat is placed on top the cheese and jalepenos, the cheese will melt. You are ready to eat and enjoy your homemade taco salad.
