How to Decorate a Girly Christmas Tree

Sure, traditional Christmas colors are red and green, but there is no reason why traditions can’t change. Start a new trend by decorating a pink and girly Christmas tree.

• Lights (optional)
• White Christmas tree skirt
• Girly Christmas ornaments
• Stuffed animals
• Wrapped presents

1. Plain green trees aren’t the only way to go. Many stores offer chic artificial trees in a variety of girly colors like pink, purple and silver.

2. Pre-lit is the easiest way to go, but if you can’t find a pre-lit tree that you like, you have to get plenty of lights to illuminate your girly tree. White lights look elegant when using a colored tree, but if you feel daring you could go for multi-colored lights or other solid colored lights on your tree.

3. The tree and lights are already bold enough, so get a tree skirt that is stylish but not overpowering. A solid white plush skirt, maybe with a touch of glitter makes a beautiful base to your girly tree.

   Character ornaments

   Decorations can make or break a girly Christmas tree. Simple silver or gold balls can make a subdued statement, but cute character ornaments can be girly and still bring out the kid in you at Christmas time.

5. To add some extra girly flair put something set out some girly items around your tree. Try putting out stuffed animals, extra ornaments or just neatly wrapped packages that match the theme of your tree.
