Christianity has roots in Judaism. Many Christians celebrate Jewish holidays regardless of their background. Here is how to celebrate Passover as a Christian.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Read up on the history of Passover. As a Christian, you can actually read about the origins of Passover in the Bible. You can also find information on Passover and Passover traditions on several websites such as http://biblicalholidays.com/Passover/celebrating_passover.htm.

  2. Step 2

Speak to a rabbi about Passover. A rabbi can answer any questions you may have about Passover. He can also give you information about how you can properly celebrate Passover.

  3. Step 3

Attend a service at a messianic temple. Most congregations at a messianic temple are made up of both Jews and Gentiles. A messianic temple celebrates Jewish and Christian traditions and can give you more insight on how to celebrate Passover as a Christian.

  4. Step 4

Learn traditional prayers that are said during Passover. You can find these online at http://www.jewfaq.org/prayer.htm. Or, you can learn them from a rabbi.

  5. Step 5

Learn traditional songs that are sung during Passover. Once again, this information can either be found online or can be given to you by a rabbi when you speak to him.

  6. Step 6

Cook a traditional Passover meal. You can find out how to do so by obtaining a book about Passover from the library or simply searching on eHow for articles like, "How to Make Passover Eclairs" or "How to Make Matzo Meal Pancakes for Passover".

  7. Step 7

Remember to separate Passover from Good Friday and Easter celebrations. Jewish and Christian traditions are different and must be observed as such. You can obtain better information on how to separate these holidays by speaking to a messianic rabbi.
