Store bought Christmas cards can be very ordinary looking and not that special to give or receive. This year make your friends and family a Christmas card that looks expensive and hard to make but only takes a few dollars and under 5 minutes.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • White pre-folded cards
  • Festive scrapbook paper
  • Archival safe glue dots or adhesive
  • Christmas stickers, stamps or rub-ons
  • Archival safe pens or markers
  • Vellum phrase book

How to Make Quick and Easy Christmas Cards

Step1
Fold your white card on the fold line and decide on an orientation for your card.
Step2
Take the festive scrapbook paper and tear it to half the size of the pre-folded card.
Step3
Torn paper attached to the card Use the glue dots or other archival safe adhesive to attach the torn paper to the front of the card.
Step4
Add some stickers or stamp a phrase on the front of the card to make your Christmas card look more festive.
Step5
Finish the inside of the card with a handwritten quote or cut out a quote from a vellum quote book, which are available at most craft stores.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always use archival safe and acid free materials. Non archival safe products could damage or ruin the card.
