How to Make Reindeer Ornaments

All you need is a handful of craft supplies to create (or let your kids create) some great ornaments.

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• Popsicle sticks (in multiples of three)
• Craft glue
• Brown, black, or red pompoms
• Googly eyes
• Brown paint
• Ribbon

1. Paint your popsicle sticks brown and let them dry. You will need three per ornament.
2. Glue the popsicle sticks in triangles with a little bit of overlap on one side to create the antlers.
3. Glue a pompom to the corner that meets exactly to form the nose. You will want brown or black for the reindeer, or red for little Rudolphs.
4. Glue the googly eyes to the sticks above the pompoms to finish the face.
5. Attach a ribbon however you choose to create the string from which to hang the ornament.

Tips & Warnings

• Give your ornaments time to set before moving on to the next steps. Your kids may want to hurry, but the glue and paint need to dry.
• An overhand knot is best to hang the ornaments
• Do not use glue or paint that is not child safe!
