Things You'll Need:
- Grocery Store
- A list of snack choices
-
Step 1
candyThere are so many great products out for children that are sugar free or caffeine free. Compromise on what your child likes and what would be good for them to have. When you go into the market ask if they have a sugar free section. But if they do not have a section then you have to start reading each items box. Verify somewhere on the box it says sugar free.
-
Step 2
sugar cubesSome of the treats that can be purchased are pudding, jell-o, candy, and bread. Now moving onto soda' s you might not want a sugar free beverage! So maybe try caffeine free drinks and there are a lot of those. Anything you can pour onto the battery of a car and it melts off the corrosion maybe something you want to not give your children. It may contribute to them running around like an energizer bunny.
-
Step 3
sodaThe adjustments that are made should be gradual, let them get use to the change. But dark sodas try to switch to a soda that is light instead for example sprite. Not all the sugar free products taste the greatest so pick and choose things that work for you.
-
Step 4
If you have a child that tends to be overly active try to cut out some of the sugar may help them to calm down. Structure in there diet is important consult the pediatrician on a gluten free diet. Alot of what children put in there bodies has an affect on how they function on a daily basis.

on 1/2/2008 My girls accidentially tasted soda for the first time at age 2.5. They LOVED it. However, they have never asked for it again and I'm thankful for that. How in the world are parents today giving their kiddies soda, I don't even drink it myself!
