Not only is there a brick-and-mortar Wal-Mart in most every town, they also have a great Internet store. From there, you can order items not available in your local store. They give you the option of having the item delivered free to your local store or to pay for shipping right to your front door.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Send your browser to the Wal-Mart website (see Resources below).
Step2
Navigate to the category of your choice to browse available items. Or use their search engine to find exactly what you are looking for.
Step3
Click the button to add items to your shopping cart.
Step4
Finish shopping, then click the "Cart" link at the top of the page to check out.
Step5
Fill in all requested information and choose how you want to handle the shipping. Be aware that the free shipping to your local store may take longer than if you pay for shipping to your door.
Step6
Print out your receipt and wait for your item to arrive. If you chose to have the items sent to your local store, you will get an email when they have arrived.

Tips & Warnings

  • Wal-Mart online does not sell grocery items.
  • Shopping Wal-Mart online will give you more options than you may have at your local store. Search Wal-Mart online for those hard-to-find items, such as popular toys and sporting goods.
  • Prices online may be lower than the local store and sometimes lower than the advertised price in the weekly circular.
  • It helps to make a list before you shop online. This way everything you wish to purchase will be shipped together.
