How to Repair a Tank Top Bra

Sometimes undergarments can get damaged a little bit. If it looks like this garment can be repaired, by all means, repair it. It will save you money and you get to wear it again. Let me show you how to repair/sew your tank top bra back together.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• Thread (color of tank top bra)
• Needle

1. Wire coming out, on both sides, of my tank top bra If the wire has broken loose from your tank top bra, what you need to do is shove it back into the tank top with your fingers. When the wire is back inside the tank top, proceed to sew the tank top bra back together.
2. Take the desired amount of thread needed to sew the tank top bra back together and push into the eye of your needle.
3. Needle and Thread Pushed into Open Area of Tank Top Bra Begin to sew opened area of tank top bra together. Make sure the wire is still pushed into the tank top bra.
4. Completed and Mended Tank Top Bra With the little bit of thread left, about an inch, push needle into material, make a loop and push needle into looped thread. Do this until thread can no longer be used. Your tank top bra is mended.

Tips & Warnings

• If you think you will prick your finger, use a rubber thumb.
• If you are thinking of mending your tank top bra around toddlers, do not. Just wait until they take a nap or once they are down for the evening. Even when they are down, if you do your mending while watching TV, please make sure the area you worked in is clean of all mending products, especially the needle.
