These appetizers seem fancy, but they're quite easy to make.

From Quick Guide: Create an Appetizer
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 20 dried (not dehydrated) dates
  • 20 slices of bacon
  • 10 walnuts, halved
  • Cookie sheet
  • Aluminum foil
  1. Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Step 2

Slice a small cut in each date to create a pocket.

  3. Step 3

Put 1/2 a walnut in each date's pocket and close the date's skin back over it.

  4. Step 4

Wrap each date in a strip of bacon—it will overlap a few times, depending on the length.

  5. Step 5

Place a sheet of aluminum foil over your cookie sheet and arrange your appetizers in rows on the cookie sheet.

  6. Step 6

Bake your appetizers for 10 to 12 minutes, or until your bacon is fully cooked.

  7. Step 7

Serve appetizers warm or at room temperature.
