Learn to shimmy. A Burlesque shimmy is the fast continuous movement of the hips derived from the go-go dancers of the 1960s. The shimmy is how Kitten DeVille has killed audience members over and over and over again.

Purchase Sally Rand white feather fans. Lately, Kitten has performed with small Sally Rand fans, perhaps launching a new era of Kitten art that is moving away from her stock shimmy act.

Get out the sewing machine. Kitten couldn’t find the costumes she wanted early in her career. So, she made them. Take your originality to the next level.

Step 5
Be the next Miss Exotic World. The Miss Exotic World is the ultimate title in Burlesque divahood. Kitten was crowned in 2002, launching her career. Miss Exotic World is held in Las Vegas every summer.

Launch your own troupe. Recently, Kitten not only went solo, but formed her own performance troupe.

Podcast your shimmy. Podcasts of Kitten quaking can be purchased on iTunes. Careful not to overload your iPod.

Teach Burlesque. Be the Mistress who divulges the secrets of the arts and the tricks of the trade. Kitten gives back to the community by inspiring and leading the next generation of the bump and grind.

Always wear hose. Never will Kitten’s legs be seen as anything less than perfection because she is always seen in nude-colored stockings.

Get your own reality television show. Kitten has recently filmed “Road Strip.” The show follows her cross country adventures as she performs with Burlesque troupes coast to coast. Go to her Myspace site for some You Tube footage. Become her Myspace friend to keep posted on post-production viewing.
