Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • small pan
  • saucepan
  • ¼ cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 ½ Tbsp flour
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • ¾ cup orange juice
  • 2 ½ cups (or a 15 oz can) cooked beets, sliced or julienne style
  1. Step 1

    Step one in making beets with orange sauce is in a small pan, combine brown sugar and flour.

  2. Step 2

    Step two for cooking beets with orange sauce with this recipe is in a separate saucepan, melt butter and add brown sugar-flour mixture, stirring until well blended.

  3. Step 3

    Combine and add orange juice, stirring and cooking until thickened.

  4. Step 4

    The Final step in making beets with orange sauce is to add well drained beets & heat your beets thoroughly. Serves 4
