How to Make a Beef and Potato Casserole

This casserole is great to warm you up on a cold winter night, and not that difficult to make, either. Want to know how to make it? Well, continue reading!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 large onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Oil spray
  • 6 cups frozen potatoes (best with hash browns)
  1. Step 1

    In a large pan, sauté onion and garlic. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.

  2. Step 2

    Add the tomato paste, water, bouillon cubes, salt, pepper and bay leaf. Bring to a boil and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.

  3. Step 3

    Use the oil spray on a large casserole dish and add the frozen potatoes.

  4. Step 4

    Add meat and tomato mixture to the top of the potatoes.

  5. Step 5

    Cover and bake in a 350-degree oven for 60 minutes.

  6. Step 6

    Let cool slightly, then eat and enjoy!
