How to Redeem an iTunes Gift Card

The gift of music is the gift that keeps on singing.

Apple's iTunes became the main way people stored music on computers in the 2000s. The iTunes store sells music and movies. Even though the prices for individual items are small, a gift card can help. You must have an iTunes account to use to redeem and use the gift card.

Things You'll Need

• Computer
• iTunes Software
• iTunes Gift Card
• Internet Access

Instructions

1. Double-click on the iTunes icon to open the program..

2. Click on the iTunes store.

3. Click on the link that says "Redeem" on the right side of the screen.

4. Rub the gray area on the back of the gift card to reveal a code number. Enter that code number in the space provided on the redeem page. The amount on the gift card will be presented as a credit when you check out of iTunes.

Tips & Warnings

• The card will not add to your account if it has not been activated.

• Do not try to enter the code twice. Once entered, the code becomes invalid.
