Washing windows is a terror of a task that has been coined in quite a few jokes. While in comics, the situation may be funny, in real life no one likes to clean windows and mirrors. Now, in a few short steps, you can clean your windows and mirrors without every touching another chemical again.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Water
  • Empty Spray Bottle
  • Two Microfiber Towels
  • Time

Step1
Fill the bottle. The empty spray bottle will need to be filled with water. If you do not have a spray bottle, simply fill a bowl with water and carry to the window or mirror.
Step2
Wet the glass. Using the spray bottle, cover the entire surface of the window or mirror with water. If using the bowl, dip one microfiber towel into the bowl and ring out slightly. Using a squeezing motion, wet the entire surface.
Step3
Dry and shine. The dry microfiber towel will now be used to dry and shine the window. Use one side of the microfiber towel to dry the window or mirror and the other side to buff the surface to a shine.

Tips & Warnings

  • For those tough spots, use a scrub sponge or toothbrush.
  • Never use an abrasive cleaner or towel to clean a window or mirror.
