How to fix a grease or oil spot on cloth

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Dawn dishwashing liguid
• Grease or oil spotted cloth
• Warm water
• Sink or Washing Machine

1. If you get grease (bacon, etc) or oil on cloth (shirt, etc) - immediately rub the spot with Dawn dish washing liquid.

2. Wash the cloth as usual. In the sink or in the washing machine with warm water.

3. Let the cloth dry in the air and the spot should be gone.

Tips & Warnings

• WD-40 or other lubricants like that will also take other stains (like food coloring and ink) out of cloth. Make sure you spray in a open area or everything will smell like lubricant.
• Do not put the stained cloth in the dryer until you know for sure that the spot will not reappear when the cloth is dry. Drying a spot will usually set it forever.
