Kenshin Uesugi's 5th weapon is earned on a difficult stage, but the steps to obtain it are not difficult. Your goal is to attack Kaizu Castle when the stage begins, and then complete the missions given to you. If you succeed, you'll obtain the Murakomo, a weapon with the following stats: Base Attack: 48 Elements: Ice Life: +50 Ranged Attack: +47 Horse Attack: +41 Speed: +45 The only special condition you'll need to fulfill int the missions is to be sure and charge Shingen's camp within one minute of getting the mission.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • Kenshin Uesugi's Story Mode cleared
  • Access to the upper path of Kenshin's tale

Step1
If playing on the Samurai Warriors:Xtreme Legends expansion, import data from the original Samurai Warriors if you haven't done so already. SKIP THIS STEP if you are not playing Xtreme Legends.

Step2
Set the difficulty to "Hard" or "Chaos", or if you are playing on Samurai Warriors:Xtreme Legends and have purchased the special bonus available from the options menu that allows you to obtain 5th weapons on Normal difficulty, you may set it to Normal instead.

Step3
Begin Free Mode or Story Mode and play as Kenshin Uesugi. Play the Kawanakajima Showdown stage on Kenshin's Tale.
Step4
Along with your standard battle items, equip a horse or a good speed scroll for this battle, since you'll have to be fast to fulfill all the missions.

Step5
Begin the stage, and head east. You'll get a mission to either attack Hachimanbara or Kaizu Castle; head for Kaizu Castle and forget about Hachimanbara for now.
Step6
On your way to Kaizu Castle, take some time to clear out the enemies in the area and defeat the reserve captain along the eastern path. You won't have time to waste doing this later, so it's now or never.
Step7
Once you reach Kaizu Castle, defeat Nobushige Oyamada to occupy it. Immediately after defeating Nobushige, without even waiting for the mission to appear, turn around and head for you main camp.
Step8
Ignore all enemies as you head back; when Hanzo Hattori appears, chase after him as directed by the mission and defeat him.
Step9
When Hanzo has been eliminated, turn around again and head back to Kaizu Castle as directed by the mission. Intercept Yukimura Sanada and defeat him, and Kunoichi too if desired (if you don't, she'll retreat when Yukimura is defeated).
Step10
The next mission may not appear immediately, but it will be to withdraw into the southwest. Go ahead and head for the encampment in the southwest corner of the map. If you get there before the mission pops up, chill there and wait.
Step11
When the mission to withdraw finally comes up, head for the blue X if you're not there already. Then immediately charge into the central plain and head for Shingen Takeda's position. Reach Shingen within one minute of starting the mission to charge the Takeda camp.
Step12
If you've done everything as instructed, the supply team will appear at Kaizu Castle and head south. Run them down, defeat the captain and collect the weapon.
Step13
Head back to Shingen's camp and finish him off to end the stage. The Murakomo is now yours!

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't waste time killing Takeda soldiers when doing missions that are time-sensitive, such as the mission to eliminate Hanzo Hattori or the one to charge the Takeda main camp.
