How to Animate a Photo Using Easy GIF Animator 4.0

If you have been wondering how all those flashy, moving pictures are created, here's the secret. Now you can create your own without fumbling through the help pages in Photoshop, Corel or other highly technical editing programs. Read on to learn how to animate a photo using easy GIF Animator 4.0.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Two or more digital images to animate
  • Computer
  • Copy of Easy GIF Animator 4 installed on your computer

Animate Your Photos

Step1
Go to the Blumentals Software website and download the latest free trial version of Easy GIF Animator.
Step2
Open the program and click "Create New Animation" from the list of choices displayed. A dialog box will appear. This is the animation wizard.
Step3
Click "Add Images" and select the photo or image you wish to animate. Repeat the process, adding as many frames of pictures as you would like. When you have selected all the photos you want in the animation, click "Next."
Step4
The next dialog box will allow you to set your timing and loop options. Continue clicking through the dialog boxes to set your preferences for the animation.
Step5
When finished, Easy GIF Animator will start playing your animation. Save the file, then upload it to your website.

Tips & Warnings

  • If using large picture files, you will need to resize them before trying to animate them.
  • Make sure you've done all the editing to your images before importing them into Easy GIF for animation.
  • Easy GIF Animator is not free software. You will be allowed approximately 20 access opportunities, then it will ask you to purchase the software.
