Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet connection
  • Paper and pen
  1. Step 1

Use the website Good Search for your entire web searching needs, because it generates revenue for the cause of your choice. The money comes from companies who advertise on their website, not from your pocket.

  2. Step 2

Become a library reader or a tutor once a week at a local school. Whether or not you have children in the school district, most schools are always looking for volunteers.

  3. Step 3

Clean your closet. Go through old shoes and clothing to see what you can give away to those in need. Donate them to a local Goodwill or other organization.

  4. Step 4

Start a fundraiser for a specific organization and get others to donate money. Or involve the community in a walk for the American Heart Association.

  5. Step 5

If you want to donate money to an organization, limit the amount you spend per year and choose a different organization, charity or school to support each year.

Tips & Warnings
  • The hardest part is deciding which organization to support since there are so many to choose from, so alternate which one you donate to.
