Step 1
Pray. Ask God to give you the strength to live a Christian life. Your relationship with him will help you get through the tough times and help you to keep going on when you want to give up.
-
Step 2
Choose a school that will help you to enhance your walk with Christ. Most denominations sponsor their own colleges. Research these schools and see if it’s possible to attend. Even if you can't attend a Christian school, find one that has an environment that you will feel comfortable in.
-
Step 3
Know yourself and your limits. Everyone has weak points. Decide what you have trouble with and make it a point to improve on it. Avoid participating in activities that will cause you to do things that go against your faith. Let your friends know what you believe in and stick to it.
-
Step 4
Build a support group. Most things in life are bearable if you have someone to lean on. Find friends that share your faith. Look around your campus to see if there are any religious groups. You’ll be surprised that many schools, even if they aren’t religious, have bible study meetings on campus. There might even be a church in the area that you can attend.
-
Step 5
Share your faith with others. What better way to maintain your faith than by sharing it with others? You don’t have to be an evangelist or force your beliefs on others, but you can always share the blessings that God has given you.
