  • 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Step7
Remove the roasting pan from the oven and allow the brisket to sit for 15 minutes.

Slice thin pieces against the grain and top with the pan juices.

Tips & Warnings

  • For a more flavorful brisket make the day before. When the brisket is done cooking remove from the roasting pan and place in a glass or ceramic baking dish and top with the pan juices. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator overnight. The next day preheat your oven to 325 degrees. Remove the hardened fat that may have formed. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and place in the oven for 1 hour. Heat through and slice thin pieces against the grain. Top with the pan juices.
