Things You'll Need:
- large clear glass bottle (wine bottles work great)
- red color filter or cello-wrap
-
Step 1
Red has several benefits. It can be used as a sensory stimulator, liver energizer, and a blood builder.
-
Step 2
You can incorporate the color red into your diet by adding red foods. Tomatoes, beets, red cabbage, plums, red apples, cranberries, and radishes are excellent choices. These foods are best eaten fresh and when their peels are intact, if that's at all possible. Always wash your produce before you prepare it.
-
Step 3
You can infuse color into the water you drink. Fill a bottle with spring or distilled water. Take a red filter (see next step) and wrap it around the bottle. Place the bottle of water in a window. It doesn't have to be in direct sunlight. Allow the bottle to sit in the window for at least an hour, three hours, if it's cloudy outside. After the proper amount of time, remove the filter and place the bottle in the fridge. Drink 6 to 8 oz., 2 or 3 times a day--or whenever you need what properties red has to offer.
-
Step 4
Color filters can be found in photography shops and even some specialty shops. Large sheets of cello-wrap can also be used. You can use the sheets singly or combine one or two.
-
Step 5
You can also wear the color red in clothing or jewelry. Rubies and garnets are strong, red gemstones.
-
Step 6
You can put a small filter over a light bulb and focus the light on a particular area of the body, such as the liver or spleen. Allow the filtered light to remain on the area for approx. 15 minutes.
