Creamy mashed potatoes are the highlight of many delicious meals; but adding certain other ingredients can bring the plain mashed potato to an all new high. Here’s a quick and easy recipe for creamy garlic mashed potatoes.

Things You'll Need:

  • 5 large potatoes
  • Two tablespoons of butter
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • saucepan, large bowl, egg beater

    How to Make Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  1. Step 1

    Fill saucepan with water and add salt and one clove of garlic broken into two pieces. Bring the water to a boil.

  2. Step 2

    Peal and dice the potatoes.

  3. Step 3

    Put the potatoes into the boiling water and cook until done.

  4. Step 4

    Drain the water and remove the garlic cloves.

  5. Step 5

    Place the potatoes into a large bowl.

  6. Step 6

    Whip with an electric beater until smooth.

  7. Step 7

    Add the butter and milk and whip until fluffy.

  • You can change the amount of garlic you add to the boiling water according to your preference.
