Do you drink protein shakes as a daily protein supplement? Are you finding that they are becoming boring to the point where sometimes you just can’t drink another one? Here is a fantastic way to turn that simple drink into a fabulous shake.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • blender
  • 1 cup of skim milk
  • 1 cup of pure fruit juice of choice
  • ½ banana
  • 5 large whole frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup of sliced peaches
  • 1 tray of ice cubes
  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein mix

    How to turn a bland protein drink into a fabulous shake

  1. Step 1

    Pour skim milk into the blender with 1 scoop of protein mix.

  2. Step 2

    Add pure fruit juice--any flavor you like.

  3. Step 3

    Add one tray of ice cubes.

  4. Step 4

    Add the strawberries, banana and peaches.

  5. Step 5

    Blend for a few seconds, until the mixture becomes a thick frosted shake.

Tips & Warnings
  • You’ll need a spoon for this one but it is a great way to start the day. It’s a food that gives your metabolism an instant boost. Plus, it's filled with protein, vitamins and iron. It tastes great!
