Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Scoop
  • Garbage bag
  • Clumping cat litter

Step1
Scoop easily seen waste into a garbage bag or trash can.
Step2
Carefully lift one end of the litter box and gently shake the box to expose hidden items of waste.
Step3
Scoop any newly found waste.
Step4
Repeat steps 2 and 3, lifting from the opposite end.
Step5
For waste that is stuck to the sides of the box, gently use the end of the scoop to scrape the waste off. Be careful to keep the waste in one piece.
Step6
Fill box with new clumping cat litter. The litter should fill the box half way. Less litter makes it harder to scoop.
Step7
Use the scoop to level the litter.
Step8
Repeat entire process daily or more often if needed.

Tips & Warnings

  • Place waste into a small trash can with a lid to minimize odors.
