How to Attach 2 Monitors to a Mac Mini

The Mac Mini is a wonderful innovation and desktop space saving computer as well as an inexpensive way to enter the world of Mac. For those wanting to use 2 monitors with the Mini though, it has been a challenge. There is only one way that I know of to accomplish this. Read on to learn how to appreciate dual viewing bliss!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Mac Mini (G4 or Intel based models)
  • 2 Monitors with VGA inputs
  • DualHead2Go system by Matrox
  • Mac OS X version 10.4 (Tiger)
  1. Step 1

    Purchase a DualHead2Go system for Mac OS X.

  2. Step 2

    Install the included software.

  3. Step 3

    Connect the VGA input cables from each of your monitors to the DualHead2Go system.

  4. Step 4

    Connect the included VGA cable from the DualHead2Go module to the VGA output on your Mac Mini.

  5. Step 5

    Reboot your Mac Mini and enjoy the expanded view!
