Sure we all like to go out and have a few drinks once in a while. However sometimes we can lose track of time while out enjoying life at a social hotspot. This can sometimes lead to a blurry cab ride home, and when we awake the infamous symptoms of the hangover make the next eight hours of our life miserable. Fortunately there is hope of a speedily recovery from a hangover; and here is how you do it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Ibuprofen tablets
  • Airborne or other vitamin tablets
  • Orange juice
  • Purified water
  • Green tee
  • Coffee
  • White bread

How to Easily Recover From a Hangover

Step1
Make sure you have the supplies. Typically most households will have a majority of the supplies on the list. However, when awakening to the dreaded hangover a trip to the grocery store is usually not in question. So try and make due with any of the supplies on this list that you have in stock.
Step2
Kill the headache. This is the worst part of any hangover. Follow the instructions on your ibuprofen bottle for the recommended maximum dosage and ingest it. Use the purified water and drink at least a full glass.
Step3
Hydrate some more. Most of the symptoms we feel when recovering from a hangover are due to the lack of hydration. Quell these symptoms by hydrating your body and splurging it with vitamin C. Try to consume at least 24 ounces of orange juice.
Step4
Dissolve an Airborne tablet and consume. These tablets, and similar generic versions, are great vitamin enhancers, energy providers and antioxidants. Replenish what your body is craving by ingesting at least one tablet in purified water.
Step5
Settle your stomach. Many times an upset stomach is one of the most sincere complaints on the list of hangover sufferers. Simply eat a few slices of white bread and wash them down with water or orange juice.
Step6
Finish recovery with coffee or green tea. After you have allowed your system a few hours to recover, quell the rest of your headache with green tea or coffee. These both have elements in them that will wake you up and make you feel better.

Tips & Warnings

  • Drink less and you won’t feel so bad the next day.
  • Try not to get drunk if you have to work early.
  • Never drink and drive.
  • If you are still feeling persistent symptoms, such as vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness or headache, seek the help a medical professional immediately!

on 12/9/2007 Nice article, Michael. I'll definitely pass these tips on to my friends. I found that two Excedrine Migraine capsules and a can of Coca Cola Classic, followed by a 30 minute nap works for me. I think it has something to do with the sudden surge of caffeine. A buddy of mine swears by Gatorade and BC powder.
