Step 1
My Infant Twins, Two Years AgoIn order to make a baby keepsake box, first, you need a baby or babies. Your own baby or babies are preferred.
-
Step 2
A Baby Keepsake BoxNow, look for a box or container to place precious items from your baby's newborn, infant, and toddler years in for safekeeping. This is the box I used. If you like it, send me a message about where to find one like it.
-
Step 3
Keepsake Box Open for Adding Baby ItemsOnce the box or container is found, it is time to open the box and begin placing your baby's precious keepsakes inside. If you have twins, you will want two boxes as your twins are separate individuals.
-
Step 4
Baby Keepsake ItemsBaby keepsake items like baby booties, first shoes, first outfit, newborn diaper (not used), binkies (or pacifiers), toys and rattles. If your twins were preemies like mine, tape your twins' photo with name, weight and inches inside the keepsake box. Also add a baby bottle, baby headbands, preemie gifts given by major preemie organizations, baby milestone book and baby's first birthday dress or pants outfit. Of course, add whatever you want and can fit into keepsake box. You are Mommy and it is all up to you.
-
Step 5
Baby Keepsake Box filled with my Twins Baby Keepsake ItemsWith keepsake box open, place all your baby's precious keepsake items inside. These keepsakes are more or less for you and not your baby. This in a way is like a time capsule. That is it. That is all you have to do to save sweet baby items.
