Things You'll Need:
- Sliced sourdough bread
- Sliced deli like meat of your choice
- Sliced Cheese or whole cheese block (of your liking)
- Mayonnaise
- Mustard (any kind) or jalepeno's (if you like)
- Butter, margarine, low fat butter (if you like)
- Knife
- Indoor grilling machine
-
Step 1
Slice of Sourdough Bread, Spread With Mayonassie and Mustard, Then Cut in HalfTo begin with, take a slice (or 2) of sourdough bread. Spread with mayonnaise and any mustard of your liking.
-
Step 2
Cheese Slice on top of Bread and Under Meat SlicesThen, if you have a block of cheese, use your slicer for the amount (2 slices usually) for your sandwich. If you are using already sliced cheese, there is no need for the cheese slicer and then add how many slices of meat onto cheese slice.
-
Step 3
Another Slice of Cheese on top of added MeatIf you want to add more cheese slices, go right ahead and add it to the already added meat on your one slice of sourdough bread.
-
Step 4
Closed Panini SandwichAfter your other cheese slice is added, close Panini Sandwich with other slice of sourdough bread. With butter knife, spread your brand or butter or margarine to top slice of sourdough bread.
-
Step 5
Indoor Grill set at 6-7 MinutesOnce sandwich is closed, turn on indoor grill and set time for 6-7 minutes. It takes at least 1-2 minutes to heat up before your sandwich is the way you want it to look or be grilled.
-
Step 6
Panini Sandwich sitting on Indoor GrillWhen two minutes is up, place butter side of Panini on indoor grill, spread more butter on bare sourdough slice and close indoor grill top.
-
Step 7
Completed Panini Sandwich with side of ChipsWhen buzzer sounds on indoor grill, that means your Panini Sandwich is done. Using the spatula that comes with your indoor grill, open top of indoor grill slowing as top piece of bread may stick to top due to the cheese melting. When top is open, take spatula under sandwich and remove it slowing. For a side, eat chips--or not--and enjoy your homemade Panini Sandwich.
