How to Enjoy London at Christmastime (Without Spending Too Much)

Whilst London is wonderful all year long, it is especially magical at Christmastime. You can enjoy the festivities without spending very much money at all, leaving you enough cash to see that West End musical after all. Read on to learn more.

1. If you're limited on time or if you just want the old world feel of Harrods without being harassed by perfume sprayers and the like, head straight for the food halls. You will be transported back in time by the sights, sounds, and smells of the food halls.
2. Walk along the south bank of the Thames to see the twinkle lights cheering up the bare tree branches. If you're lucky, you'll catch lots of street performers singing Christmas carols.
3. Instead of shopping in the high street stores for Christmas gifts, check out the markets. You'll find more original pieces here; and you'll end up spending a lot less moolah.
4. Go to see the choir sing at St. Paul's cathedral. Although the choir sings all year long, being in the ambiance of the lit candles with the angelic voices of the choir at Christmastime is a special treat.
