If you’ve worked long and hard on creating the perfect Mii avatar, you should be able to use it wherever you go! Make sure your favorite Mii is available even when you play on your friends’ consoles by storing it in your Wiimote.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Nintendo Wii console
  • Wiimote
  • A favorite Mii avatar
  1. Step 1

Launch the Mii Channel. If you haven’t already created the Mii you want to take with you, create it now.

  2. Step 2

Find the Wiimote icon on the Mii Plaza screen. It should be the second icon from the bottom on the right side of the screen. Click the icon by aiming your Wiimote and pressing the A button.

  3. Step 3

If multiple Wiimotes are active when you select the Wiimote icon, you will have to specify which Wiimote you would like to save your Mii onto.

  4. Step 4

Grab your favorite Mii by aiming the Wiimote and pressing and holding buttons A and B. Drag your Mii to one of the vacant spots at the top of the screen and release buttons A and B. Each Wiimote can hold as many as ten Miis.

  5. Step 5

Save and exit the Wii transfer screen. Keep your Wiimote with you whenever you travel to someone else’s house to play Mii-based games.

  6. Step 6

To upload your favorite Mii to another Wii console, simply launch the Mii Channel and use your Wiimote to select the Wiimote icon. You can then use buttons A and B together to grab your Mii from the Wiimote and drop it into the Mii Plaza.

Tips & Warnings
  • A Mii is stored on your Wiimote until you delete it. If you import your Mii onto another Wii console, it just makes a copy.
  • Once you import a Mii to another console, it will remain there until it is deleted.
