1. Train barrel horses yourself and sell them for a big profit after winning at popular rodeos. This can be done with more than one horse at a time and repeated throughout the year.
2. Buy a lower priced horse and hire someone to train it for you. Then sell the horse after winning at some rodeos.
3. Buy a high caliber horse and allow a professional rider to ride the horse for you. If the right combination is found, the horse and rider can win quite a bit of money.
4. Train and compete on futurity barrel horses. Some of the highest paying rodoes in barrel racing are at futurity events. You can ride the horse yourself or hire someone else to ride the horse for you.
