You find something you really like on eBay, and you want to make sure no one beats you at the end of the auction. Follow these steps on how to win an auction on eBay at the last second.

• Internet
• Timer
• Money to buy what you bid on

Instructions

1. Sign in to eBay.

2. Set the timer for 50 seconds (optional).

3. Keep refreshing the auction. With one minute remaining in the auction, start the countdown on the timer.

4. Begin the bidding process by typing in the maximum amount you want to bid for the item and click on 'Place Bid.'

5. When the timer expires (with no timer, approximate by counting to 50), click 'Confirm Bid.'

6. If your maximum bid is higher than anyone else's maximum bid, you will win the auction with mere seconds to go--less time to worry, more time to celebrate!
