Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Steel bur brush
  • gloves
  • goggles
  • gown
  • cotton pliers
  • barrier wrap
  1. Step 1

Barrier wrap the area in which you are going to clean your burs.

  2. Step 2

Put on the gown, goggles and gloves.

  3. Step 3

You can purchase a steel bur brush from any dental-supply vendor at a very reasonable cost (usually around $5.00/ea).

  4. Step 4

Locking cotton pliers work best in holding on the bur while you use the brush in an upward motion away from you and scrape off any and all debris on the bur.

  5. Step 5

This only takes seconds and is great for removing any and all types of cement and wax from both carbide burs and acrylic burs. You will also note that is brings the shine back into the burs.
