The shoe boxes are filling up with sports cards and becoming cluttered in the closet. Want to make life easier and to keep your precious Detlef Schrempf rookie card in pristine of condition as possible? Follow these simple and inexpensive steps to a better way to store the hobby of a sports card collection.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Sports Cards
  • Storage Boxes
  • Space
  1. Step 1

Visit a sports/card hobby shop or shop on the Internet for sports card storage boxes. They come in a variety of sizes, from holding 60 cards to 5,000.

  2. Step 2

Purchase as many as you think you will need.

  3. Step 3

Put the storage box together, which consists of folding pieces of cardboard together. For larger boxes, separators may be used to create easy-to-use rows in the box.

  4. Step 4

Transfer the cards from whatever you are currently storing them in into the newly created storage boxes.

Tips & Warnings
  • If the box is not completely filled, adjust the cards every few years or they will begin to warp.
