If you have an infection from a scratch, cut or surgery, here is a natural way to treat the infection.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • oregano oil or capsules
  • cotton balls
  • gloves
  • glass of water
  1. Step 1

You can find oregano oil in your health food store, grocery store, or pharmacy store.

  2. Step 2

Apply the oregano oil with the cotton ball to any laceration, scratch or suture site. Note that you are not to apply directly into the wound but on the margins of the wound.

  3. Step 3

    Do not cover.

  4. Step 4

Repeat steps 2 and 3 until healed.

  5. Step 5

If you do not find oregano oil in the liquid bottled form you may also ingest the capsules (once a day) or break open the capsules and apply directly. Oregano contains an anti-microbial that helps with the infection.
