How to Install the Google Toolbar

Google is the ubiquitous and most powerful search engine on the planet. Here's how you install their toolbar onto a web browser.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Mozilla Firefox
  1. Step 1

    Navigate to the Google Toolbar page at:

    http://toolbar.google.com

  2. Step 2

    Click on 'Download Google Toolbar' to proceed.

  3. Step 3

    Click on 'Agree and Install'.

  4. Step 4

    On the 'Software Installation' page, click on 'Install Now'.

  5. Step 5

    The toolbar will then download. Once it has finished installing, you will be prompted to restart Firefox.

  6. Step 6

    The Toolbar will appear right below your address bar. You will have full Google search functionality now. Enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • The Google toolbar enables you to search for RSS feeds, make Gmail your default Email client as well as let you search through Google Earth.
