How to View a PDF document on your PDA

PDFs are very convenient file formats, but if you have a PDA, there is a way you can view them on the go. Here's how.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• Adobe Mobile PDF reader
• Windows Mobile or PocketPC PDA

1. Download the Adobe Mobile PDF reader here:
   
   http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/acrrmobiledevices.html
2. You will see the program in the list. Launch it.
3. You will see the following screen as the reader loads.
4. Navigate to the folder where you have your PDF files. In this case, it is in the storage card.
5. Select the file and click 'Open'.
6. You will then be able to view the file in its original format.

Tips & Warnings

• Transfer the PDF file after you have installed the Mobile PDF reader. This way, your PDF files will be retagged for easier viewing on mobile devices.
• Some PDF files won't have the word wrap feature work properly. If so, delete the file from your PDA and re-transfer it. That should convert it to the new tagged format.
• Larger PDF files will take a while to convert and transfer. Be prepared to wait.
