PDFs are very convenient file formats, but if you have a PDA, there is a way you can view them on the go. Here's how.

From Quick Guide: Using PDAs
Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Adobe Mobile PDF reader
  • Windows Mobile or PocketPC PDA
  1. Step 1

Download the Adobe Mobile PDF reader here:

    http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/acrrmobiledevices.html

  2. Step 2

You will see the program in the list. Launch it.

  3. Step 3

You will see the following screen as the reader loads.

  4. Step 4

Navigate to the folder where you have your PDF files. In this case, it is in the storage card.

  5. Step 5

Select the file and click 'Open'.

  6. Step 6

You will then be able to view the file in its original format.

Tips & Warnings
  • Transfer the PDF file after you have installed the Mobile PDF reader. This way, your PDF files will be retagged for easier viewing on mobile devices.
  • Some PDF files won't have the word wrap feature work properly. If so, delete the file from your PDA and re-transfer it. That should convert it to the new tagged format.
  • Larger PDF files will take a while to convert and transfer. Be prepared to wait.
